AGGIE SWIM CLUB COACHES

The coaches' job is to supervise the competitive swim program.  The Aggie Swim Club coaching staff is dedicated to providing a program for youngsters that will enable them to learn the value of striving to improve oneself - "to be the best you can be".

 
 

Henry Clark - Director

Henry has been involved in competitive swimming since the age of 5.  He is an All-American, Senior National and Olympic Trial qualifier, specializing in butterfly and distance freestyle.

As a masters swimmer, Henry won the men's 40-44 100 meter butterfly in the world record time of 58.20 at the Master's World Championships in 2007.

Henry has his PhD in nuclear physics from Ohio University where he swam on full scholarship for four years and was captain of the team for three.  He is originally from Newtown Square, PA where he swam under the tutelage of Dick Schoulberg of Germantown Academy and Foxcatcher, side by side Olympians such as David Wharton, David Berkoff and Trina Radtke.

Since beginning to coach the Ags' senior program Henry has helped his swimmers achieve their goals of qualifying for Sectionals, Zones, Jr. Nationals, Sr. Nationals, Olympic Trials and the USA Swimming National Junior Team.  Henry is a 2-time member coach of USA Swimming's National Junior Team and was named 2017 Senior Coach of the Year for Gulf Swimming.  Many of Coach Henry's swimmers have gone on to compete at the collegiate level.

Eliseo Villarreal - Senior Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Eliseo started swimming at the age of 10 and competed for Rockwall Aquatic Center of Excellence and his high school.  As a distance swimmer and butterflier, Eliseo competed at HS State, US Sectionals and Junior Nationals.

Eliseo graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Architecture and now works full time as a CAD designer for Stylecraft Home Builders in College Station.

Eliseo loves to swim, work out and listen to music.  He enjoys pushing athletes and helping them realize and reach their maximum potential.

Dusti See - Age Group Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Dusti has been on both sides of the water for the last three decades.  She has done it all from swimming on summer swim team and Varsity high school teams, to teaching water aerobics/swim lessons, lifeguarding and being Assistant Coach for a high school swim team. 

She graduated from Texas A&M with her BS in WFSC and teaches high school sciences.  Her philosophy is that learning can be fun in all aspects of life, because what we learn today opens possibilities in our future. She is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to creating programs that are not only fun, but educational and competitive too.  She loves anything to do with the water, as well as “hanging out” with her family watching TV, playing games, or reading.

Both her sons, Darien (27) and Dylan (20) have been involved in swimming at various levels, which has allowed Dusti to continue to take an active role in the swimming world.  During her coaching time, she has coached Sectional qualifiers/finalists; Zones team swimmers, TAGS finalists/qualifiers, Junior Nationals qualifiers and College-bound swimmers. She has been a volunteer coach for summer swim teams, camp counselor for Aggie Swim Camp, on the coaching staff of multiple Gulf LSC travel trips and camps, a “Color Leader” for USAS Leadership Summit, an Assistant Coach/Head Age Group Coach and head coach as well as serves on the Gulf LSC board.

Tiago Marques - Age Group Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Tiago is originally from Portugal where he swam for over 20 years.  He earned a Masters Degree in Sports and Physical Education.

Tiago enjoys running and working out at the gym.  He enjoys seeing the daily growth of the swimmers he coaches and he likes when his swimmers feel happy and fulfilled in the pool.

Olivia Maddux - Age Group  Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Originally from Belton, Olivia started swimming when she was 10 years old and swam competitively through high school.  Olivia broke 2 school records and quaified to compete at Futures.  She was recruited and swam for one year at the University of Arkansas at LIttle Rock.

Olivia is currently attending Texas A&M University and is working toward a degree in Psychology.  She enjoys listening to music, going on walks with her dog and hanging out with her sisters.  She loves getting the opportunity to watch kids flourish and fall in love with the sport of swimming.

Shannon Clark - Junior Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Originally from New Jersey, Shannon began swimming competitively at the age of 4 when her father was her coach.  She has been involved with the sport of swimming for the better part of 25 years.  As an age-group swimmer, Shannon held New Jersey Age Group State Records in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM.  At age 12 she was the youngest swimmer in her team's history to qualify for YMCA Nationals.

In college, Shannon swam for Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and was a team captain for one year.  In college her specialties were the 100 and 200 backstroke.  She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from OU.

Shannon has continued to be involved in swimming through her children, Tyler (34) and Haley (32) who were members of the Aggie Swim Club for over 12 years.  Haley is currently a Veterinarian at Texas A&M University and Tyler is in the US Navy stationed in Washington, D.C.

Shannon has been the Club's Administrator for the last 25 years and has coached the Novice, Age Group Development, Age Group and Junior programs with the Club since 2002.  She also coached with the College Station Tsunamis and worked with the Bryan Barracudas.  Shannon has been the Director of the Texas A&M University Swim Camp for the last 20 years.

Ethan Boyes - Junior Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Ethan was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in College Station, Texas.  He started swimming at age 5 and competed with the Aggie Swim Club for 13 years.  Ethan qualified for all levels of meets, including TAGS, Zones, Sectionals, Futures and Junior Nationals.

Ethan was recruited to swim at Fodham University in New York but decided to attend Texas A&M University.  He enjoys swimming, working out and hanging out with frieds.  Ethan loves sharing his passion and love for the sport of swimming with a younger generation.  He enjoys creating a fun environment for swimmers.

Duru Tanriverdi - Junior Coach - TAMU Rec Center

Duru is from Ankara, Turkey where she grew up swimming.  She competed at the 2021 Euripean Junior Championships where she swam Olympic B cuts in the 800 meter and 1500 meter freestyle.

Duru was recruited to swim at Texas A&M University where she swam for three years.

Tyler Allen - Development Coach - College Station Middle School

Tyler is from Katy, Texas where he started swimming at age 8 and he swam through high school.  Tyler has been coaching his local summer league program for the last three seasons.

Tyler is currently attending Texas A&M University studying Psychology.  He enjoys hanging out with friends, watching sports and playing video games.  Tyler enjoys interacting with kids and seeing them get better.

Caitlin Dulay - Novice  Coach - College Station Middle School

Caitlin is from Spring, Texas where she swam for 10 years for her summer league team, The Oak Ridge Otters.  While swimming summer league she broke team records and won the high point award at the Ponderosa Invite.  Caitlin also swam for her local USA club team and Oak Ridge High School.

Caitlin coached for 2 summers for the Otters and for her club team.  She has also worked for the City of Bryan as a Swim Instructor.  Most recently, Caitlin was on the Aggie Waterpolo Team

Caitlin is currently attending Texas A&M University working toward a degree in psychology. She is very passionate about water safety and coaching younger swimmers and she loves to introduce this sport to the next generation.

Angela Hess - Novice Coach - College Station Middle School

Angie is from Dallas, Texas, where she began swimming at a very young age.  She competed for Bishop Lynch HS where she was a captain for one year.  

Angie has coached for the Dallas Country Club and has extensive private lesson history.  She is currently attending Texas A&M University working toward a degree in Public Health.

Angie loves cooking, reading, lifting weights and hanging out with friends.  Her favorite thing about coaching is watching kids improve their swills and become more confident in the water.

Kendall Pruitt  - Novice Coach - College Station Middle School

Originally from San Antonio, Kendall learned to swim at a very young age and started competing while in elementary school.  

Kendall is currently a junior at Texas A&M University.  She enjoys weight lifting, running with her dog and spending quality time with her friends.  She loves to help kids reach their potential and grow as swimmers and be excited about the sport of swimming.
