So, a swimmer can enter any event in the meet that they have a time slower than a BB time in yards. Meter times do not come into play, it's solely based on the swimmer's best yard times. So, on swimmer's entries screens once you import the event file: |

The Gulf will host the Gulf Open Water Select Team Qualifier on Sunday, April 13 at Lake Longhorn. Entries are due by April 3rd. Click HERE for meet details and entry info.
Southern Zone Open Water Championships will be held in Fort Myers, Florida, April 25-27. There will be boys and girls 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-8 age groups. Six athletes in each age group and gender will be eligible to compete in the event. The athlete’s age as of April 25th, 2025 will dictate the age group you will swim in order to qualify at the Gulf Qualifier and the age group that you will compete in at Southern Zones.
The top 6 swimmers representing boys and girls in each age group that are members of the GULF LSC will be automatic qualifiers. The 7th and 8th finishers in each age group will be considered 1st and 2nd alternates in case a top six finisher declines the Select Team slot.
